Riding On Trains

Teaching the kids about public transportation in places like Washington DC and New York City is really interesting. The trains and subways of New York with all of their history and amazing buildings, like Grand Central Station were a really neat experience with the kids. They had so much fun and they pushed our boundaries in so many ways, including making friends with all of the people they sat next to. You're not supposed to make friends with strangers on the subway! It's hard to know whether to be shocked or impressed by the lack of fear our children have.

The Train Along the Hudson Was Exciting

The Kids Had a Really Hard Time Sitting Still

Izzy Took This Picture, Moms Attempt At Entertaining Him Was To Give Him a Camera

Hannah Enjoyed Standing and Looking Out the Window At the Sights Going By

The River Was Beautiful

Our Train Route Ended at Grand Central. The Very First View of Grand Central Station

The Kids Were Amazed

And So Were the Grown Ups!

It's Such a Beautiful Building.

And It's Huge!

Eli Loved Every Detail of the Subways. "Even The Signs Are Pretty!" He Said

Izzy Didn't Like How Loud and Dark the Subways Were, He Kept Asking Why They Had To Be So Crowded

Hannah Learned to Stand Up While Riding

It Was Hard To Get Her to Stand Rather Than Dance
