An Entire Day In Manhattan

We managed to fit a lot of experiences in one day on our day out in Manhattan. There is no doubt that New York City is a great place to spend the day. We had a truly fun time.

We left Grand Central Station and Split Up.

I Headed Towards the Library. The Street Leading Towards the Library Has These Great Quotes On the Sidewalk.

The Reflections Of Buildings Upon Other Buildings Creates It's Own Architecture of Reflected Facades.

I Had Research To Do and Was So Excited To Go To The New York City Library To Do It.

The Library Is Very Big, But It Was Hard To Learn The System.

All The People Using The Library Were Very Serious.
The Building Itself Is Distractingly Beautiful.

The Lower Rooms Resembled a Cloister, Which Made Me Think of the Connection Between Books and Religion.

Meanwhile, In Central Park, the Rest of the Family Went to Visit Cousin Dan At the Natural History Museum.

When I Had Finished My Research I Walked Up 5th Avenue To Central Park In Order To Find the Rest of My Crew.

I Past By Strawberry Fields and the Tribute To John Lennon Where People Were Gathered To Take Pictures and Leave Flowers.

I Caught Up With the Family At "The Lake."

We Decided To Head Towards the Row Boats.

On the Way We Past This Great Fountain That's In All the Movies Where People Go To Central Park.

The Kids Were In a Restless Mood, Especially Izzy.

Hannah and Eli Were Liking Each Other That Day.

Or At Least They Wanted It To Look That Way In the Pictures.

But Nobody Could Stay Still For Very Long.

Really They Wanted To Go For a Boat Ride With Dada.
Only Four People Were Allowed In a Boat, So I Had To Go Get a Cup of Coffee, and Wait For Them On Shore.

After the Boat We Went Looking For a Playground.

We Passed By A Man Making Giant Bubbles, Among Many Other Central Park Sites.

Eli Was A Good Big Brother And Pushed Hannah On the Tire Swing.

Izzy Preferred the Large Rocks to the Play Structures At the Playground.

We Saw a Super Tall, Super Thin, Woman Being Coached On How To Loose Even More Weight While Wearing A Rubber Suit That Covered Her Entire Body.

We Decided It Was Time For Dinner.

We Found a Restaurant That Has a Chain In Santa Monica That We Have Been To. Interesting When a Food Chain Can Be High Quality Food.

Elijah Likes His iphone.

We Decided To Show the Kids Time Square All Lit Up At Night, Before Heading Out.

Eli Was Struck By All of the People Still Awake and Doing Stuff Late At Night. "The City That Never Sleeps." He Said.

We Walked Back To Grand Central And So I Showed Them The Library On the Way There.

Grand Central Is Beautiful At Night, With Hermes At The Top.

Hermes Is Everywhere For Travelers Headed Towards the Trains.

Grand Central Never Seems To Be Slow.

It Was a Long and Full Day in New York City.
